A series of 24 black-and-white photos printed on museum-quality canvas. The pictures truly reproduce the atmosphere of Chekhov’s works. Speaking about the works of the great Russian writer, the author says: “While getting ready for the exhibition ‘Through Mirrors: Chekhov’ I made sure that Chekhov’s plots and characters are absolutely universal… More than 100 years have passed since Chekhov’s death, but his characters are more alive than ever”.
Size: 70х70 cm. Created in 2015-2016.
The collection was exhibited in several Russian cities: in the Museum of Modern Fine Arts in Rostov-on-Don, in the Art Museum of Taganrog, and in the Art Library named after A.P. Bogoliubov in Moscow.
