A series of 20 photographs (45×45 cm) created in the author’s technique: printing on Amalfi handmade paper with subsequent sepia toning. The sheet size is 50×70 cm. Created in 1989-1995.
Each picture is a macro photography of the tree bark details. The idea of creating such pictures was born when observing wood bark on which man, external influences or a set of these factors left their mark for decades and centuries. In each work the author gives the viewer the opportunity to freely interpret the result.
The collection was first presented to the public at the Key Damy Photogallery in Brescia, Italy.
